All girls deserve to feel safe. Martial arts makes young women feel confident, through mastery over their own bodies. It doesn't matter what style you study; just getting out there and learning how to defend yourself is such a healthy thing to do on an emotional, physical and yes, even spiritual level. The study of martial arts builds not just physical, but emotional resilience, and this is what young women need the most.

Martial Arts teaches women the skills to develop healthy emotional and physical boundaries. Studying Martial Arts also challenges the belief that women's bodies are inherently vulnerable to attack and that men's bodies are unstoppable. Learning a martial art is empowering, and can change women's beliefs about what they are capable of, and what they are entitled to.

It is our mission to get this message out to the world! We want all girls, everywhere, to be inspired to take up the challenge - to learn to defend themselves, to feel strong and powerful in their own bodies, and to be confident to say "I deserve better".
The amazing young women in our documentary also deserve better; equal recognition for their achievements and respect for their hard work and commitment. With your support, we can make this a reality.

Martial Arts Changes Lives

Too often nobody has even heard of what young women are achieving in martial arts. Help their voices be heard. Help make our documentary a reality!

Everybody deserves to learn
Self Defence

Martial arts is a male-dominated sport & not a lot of time or energy goes into helping young women remain in training
From equal numbers in primary school, less than 5% of women continue past their early teens.
Later, pregnancy stops many women from training and they never return. Help us get our message out and re-empower women to return to training, and educate everyone on how to make Martial Arts women-friendly

Girls Can Do Anything!

World Champions happen here.

It takes a lot of guts to go into a World-Class competition like the Arnold Classic, but that's just what our girls did. Taking out Gold & Silver, they proved you can do anything you set your mind to.

Shihan Scott Brailey has also coached the winner of the 2016 Japan - Australia International Friendly Competition in Yokohama, where she beat a Japanese boy to take first place.

We may have finished filming the National Titles, but the competition is starting up all over again.
Help us to reach out and inspire young women everywhere to get involved and start a martial art!

It doesn't stop here...
